AutoFusa SA was founded by the brothers Hernando and Jaime Pavón Páez on April 28, 1954 in the city of Fusagasuga. It began its passenger transport services on the Fusagasuga – Bogotá, Icononzo, Arbelaez and Girardot routes.
Along with passenger transport, it also has remittance and parcel services. Autofusa today covers mainly the cities of Bogotá, Girardot, Ibagué and Melgar with its transport services.
