Facatativá is one of the 116 municipalities in the department of Cundinamarca (Colombia). It is the capital of the Province of Sabana Occidente. It is located 36 km from Bogotá, on the Bogotá-Villeta-Honda-Medellín highway. It is currently recognized for being to municipality with one of the best education rates in Colombia, and with one of the best health systems at the regional level.
Facatativá has an intercity terminal with destinations to cities in the West Savannah, Cundinamarca, Tolima, Antioquia, Caldas and the Colombian Atlantic Coast. Due to the small size of the current terminal, the services that go to destinations outside of Cundinamarca have been forced to embark and disembark outside of it.
