Medellin has two passenger transport terminals, one to the north of the urban area and one to the south of Medellín.
The construction of the first bus and taxi terminal “Mariano Ospina Pérez” was carried out on February 16, 1984, located since then in the northern sector of the city of Medellín. Because the north terminal was reaching its maximum occupancy level, in April 1993 the south terminal “Alberto Díaz Muñoz” was built.
Medellín’s transportation terminals are also modern shopping centers with banking and telecommunications services.
