Duitama is a Colombian municipality located in the department of Boyacá, located in the center-east of Colombia. It is the capital of the province of Tundama. It is known as “The Civic Capital of Boyacá” and “The Pearl of Boyacá”. Duitama is the most important land transportation port in eastern Colombia as it is located on the Troncal Central del Norte.
