Pitalito is a Colombian municipality located in the south of the department of Huila, on the valley of the Grande de la Magdalena River, 180 km from the capital Neiva. It is the second most populous municipality in the department of Huila and is considered the largest producer of coffee in Colombia. Its climate is humid with thermal variations throughout the year, thus prevailing the temperate climate between 18 to 21°C.
